Ozan Duran is a Chesapeake father, fourth generation farmer, former public-school math teacher, former city debt analyst, engineer, and former contractor. His background combines classrooms, public finance, construction, software, and hands-on work. He wants Chesapeake to fund city employees, schools, roads, drainage, and basic services first; remove unnecessary barriers for residents and small businesses; protect established neighborhoods; and impose strict rules on harmful large-scale development.
